Board of Directors

President's message

Coming to
Meadowvale Theatre
in the Fall of 2009

Hello fellow members
Our AGM was held on Monday the 8th of June. reports were presented and accepted. We had three members of the cast for our next show in attendance. The highlights of the AGM were a final treasurer's report, membership dues increase from $25 to $30.00 and $40.00 for a family membership. Rob Gorican stepped down from the board and Mike Marando, who's term was up, will stay on as membership secretary.

We are activley looking for a new VP's of administration and advertising. Mike Marando was presented with a gift on attaining his 25th year with  CMT and Rob was thanked for all his hard work in particular with his work on revamping the constitution.
Our spring concert was "The Secret Garden" in concert, and was directed by Erica Feggans.
The audiences loved the show, we had wonderful performances by the Faulkner children Kelsey and Mackenzie and many other talented performers. We even had an added feature on the Friday night- the fire alarm went off and we had to clear the building. Congratulations to all involved.

Our congratulations go to the proud parents and grandparents of the Fillippelli and Timmons families on the arrival of two beautiful babies, one per family of course!

Our charitable donations this year were made to Credit Valley Foundation, Gerry Love foundation, Ian Anderson house, Interim Place.

Bingo remains our main fundraiser and it is very important to us. A big thank you goes to those who tirelessly work at bingos, especially Margot Timmons, Ruth McDonald, Susan Wray, Liz and Jim Allen, Judy Bikas and to everyone who has helped in the past year. We look forward to working with some new people on bingo.

We continue to work hard to keep putting on the best shows possible for our audience and most important the welcome we show to every new member who joins our group.

We look forward to an exciting season starting with Thoroughly Modern Millie in November and to our next spring concert in April 2009 TBA. Thank you for all the support you have shown to the board and myself in the past year and I want to assure you that the hard work and dedication will continue through the coming year to make sure we continue to entertain Mississauga for sixty years and counting.
Thank you again for coming out tonight.

Rita Ferguson- President CMT.

Subject: Workshop Clean-up June 13th TOMORROW

Hi..just a reminder that TOMORROW morning at 9am we will meet for a few hours as a follow up CLEAN UP at the workshop. I have ordered ONE dumpster and we need to go thru the last bits of things to get the place in shape for the fall season..we need STRONG arms to carry and move and re-organize flats and for those with less physical strength there are lighter jobs to do..PLEASE come out, even for just afew hours..I hope to be finished by noon.

For those in your group NOT listed in this email, please pass this reminder on to them..the more people who show up, the more we can do and the less time it will take. It is YOUR space.

Thank you , again, for your continued support,

Darlene Gow
