Oakville Drama Series
One of our members has been single out for an award for his work with the Oakville Drama Series. Former President and current V.P. of Finance, Nick Forrow won the award for “Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of “Nonno” (Jonathon Coffin) in Burl-Oak Theatre Group's recent production of Tennessee Williams' “Night of the Iguana

Hello, fellow CMTers.

On behalf of the production crew of Sweeney Todd, I am appealing to you for help in two areas:

1. If you are available this Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. to lend some muscle to help move a couple of rather heavy set pieces into the Tannery, we could really use your brawn. The effort should not take more than an hour, probably less. If you can help out, please contact Rita Ferguson or Christine McMahon directly.
2. We also have need of some painters -- no major artistic talent required, just a willingness to wave a paint brush around and an ability to take some moderate direction. The dates for these painting sessions are Sunday, October 19;  Friday, October 24; Saturday, October 25, Friday Oct 31, Saturday, November 1 and Nov 15.
The time frame for all days is from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm. While it would certainly be nice if you could commit for the full duration, that is certainly not a requirement. If you can donate even an hour or two of your time and talents, that would be appreciated. If you can help out with this effort, please let me know and give me the details. You can reach me at 905-824-0289 (my home phone) or at michaelmarando@hotmail.com . If you have come out to one of our painting parties before, you know what fun they are. If you haven't, there's no better opportunity to find out first hand!
Thanks for your continued support.
