CMT Christmas Concert
A Presbyterian Church in Erin Mills has asked us to help them raise funds for their renovation program,
by giving a concert in their church. As part of CMT'S giving back to the community, we have agreed, in principal, to help them in this way.
Ruth McDonald has graciously agreed to be the Music Director and has secured Judith Drake as our accompanist for the rehearsals and performance.
Tentatively, the concert is scheduled for the end of November and will have much the same flavour and structure as our previous Christmas Concert group of a few years ago. We also have another tentative booking to sing for the residents of Sunrise of Erin Mills and possibly the Sunrise of Oakville and Mississauga and possibly Burlington. Some might have to be after Christmas with a suitable adjustment in the program!
All we need now is YOUR commitment to once a week rehearsals, starting in mid September, probably at Christ Church - our plans will only be able to go forward if Ruth can be sure of the right “mix” and balance of SATB voices.
