CMT AGM ,Thoroughly Modern Millie Report

Thoroughly Modern Millie was an unqualified success for our November 2009 show. Audiences and cast alike enjoyed this toe tapping musical from beginning to end. We were 97% sold out! Congrats to director Rob Gorican (winner ACTCO award for Best Director), Choreographer Bob Riddell (nominated best choreographer Encore Series), Music Director Jenny Peace, our own Millie (Tammy Frederick - best actress ACTCO and voted most helpful cast member by her peers), Neil Salinas (Jimmie) - voted favourite actor by the Encore Series audience, Amanda Dwyer Scott best minor actress Encore Series. Millie was also recognized by ACTCO through other nominations:
Heather Taws nominated Best Supporting Female Role, and received an adjudicator's award with the Encore series.
Dan Bart nominated best supporting male role,
Bruce Brown nominated best set design,
Glen Pringle nominated best stage management
Rita Ferguson, Christine McMahon, Nick Forrow -nominated best production.
Congrats to a great artistic team. We were very pleased by the spirit of camaraderie and the excellence achieved on stage. We hope that many of the new faces that joined us this year will continue to share their talents with Clarkson.
