CMT celebrates our recent production of "My Fair Lady". If you are on Facebook, perhaps you've had a chance to view some of the stunning images that capture the sheer scope of the artistic vision of this great show. Couple that with the incredible direction by Michael MacLennan and Jenny Peace, as well as the outstanding cast, orchestra and team. We are so proud to have shared "My Fair Lady" with our Mississauga community!
Our Christmas Cheer Choir is on the road as we speak and well in the midst of their 11 show run. Bravo Bravo Bravo to this exceptional pool of talent, under the direction of Ruth McDonald, produced by Seona Sydor. You perform CMT's most significant work with the least fanfare. Your reward is in the eyes and hearts of those who you entertain in our senior centres. Well done.
THE CMT WINE AND CHEESE / DECEMBER 28TH:
Please join CMT to celebrate the achievements of 2018... ie: great productions, great friendships, great community outreach. This year, the CMT Christmas Wine and Cheese will be held on Friday December 28th at 7:30 p.m. at the Irish Club - 4120 Ridgeway Drive. Snacks provided, cash bar. This will be an opportunity for us all to truly gather as friends to share the stories of our season. There is no charge. But we ask you to rsvp to [email protected] so we can be adequately prepared for you joining the party. RSVP by December 26th please.
"AT THE MOVIES" - SIGN UP FOR ENSEMBLE AND/OR TO AUDITION JANUARY 12:
CMT's spring concert is "At the Movies" at. Eden United Church, May 10 and 11, 2019, under the direction of Erica Feggans Astles, accompanied by our own Robin Dalgleish. Rehearsals are held in the gym at Christ Church, 1700 Mazo Crescent. Rehearsals are mostly Mondays and Wednesdays starting March 20th. Please find attached the rehearsal schedule for the concert. If you are a member in good standing and would like to join the ensemble, please email [email protected] to hold your spot in the ensemble and to allow us to prepare enough copies of the music. Your confirmation is required by Feb10th.
If you wish to be considered for a featured role or if you or a friend are not CMT members and would like to join the ensemble, please contact [email protected] to book your 5 minute audition on January 12 between 10 am and 2 p.m. at Christ Church, room tbd. Bring music double sided in a binder for Robin to play for you. Your audition music should reflect our theme "at the movies". We ask you to avoid songs that also appear in musicals. (eg: Mamma Mia is both a musical and a movie, so it's inappropriate). Put your thinking cap on and wow the audition panel!
INTERVIEWS FOR THE ARTISTIC TEAM FOR "THE ADDAMS FAMILY" JANUARY 19:
It's also time to assemble our next artistic team for our 2019 November production: "The Addams Family". We are accepting applications for a director and a choreographer. Interviews for the artistic team for "The Addams Family" will be held at Christ Church, 1700 Mazo Crescent, Room tbd, January 19 - booked from 11 am to 1 p.m.
Applicants for the artistic team of "The Addams Family" should submit the following to Christine McMahon / VP of Production at [email protected] with your request for an interview:

We’ll take you back to your first memory of the movies and return you to yesterday when you last sat in the cinema. We hope you like our special selections including: Somewhere Over the Rainbow, theme from James Bond, Lord of the Rings, and more.
